Materials: A Success!


I was tooling around in Metasequoia earlier today, thinking how ridiculous it was that none of the textures would load for me in Meta, while when I could get textures in A:M, I couldn't export them in a way that Pepakura could read... when I realized I was the one being stupid (probably not all that uncommon an occurrence... : )  Anyway, the Material panel of meta simply

Emulators...Grr

Hello all! The outlook on this project is still positive...possibly more so than ever, because I now have the Twilight Princess models: yay! I did run into a little trouble getting the textures to apply correctly, though, so don't expect any immediate papercraft offerings.

It'sa Me...


Hey! Today I bring you another simple craft, a primer for what I'm about to be getting into. I made Mario's Hat using A:M (to model), HamaPatch (to convert), Metasequoia (to clean up the model), and (of course) Pepakura to lay out the pattern. I am going to go ahead and post the pattern, so anyone interested can try it out, but I have a suspicion that the "M" decal

Progress!


 
 Today has been an unbelievably encouraging day for my papercrafting hobbies. Though I still haven't comprehensively learned to rip models, I did find a whole range of them on the internet (here and here), and so I'll be able to work on with the process of turning them into models, even without having to wait until I can rip. First Papercraft

 
Alright, I've got my first papercraft completed. It's the famous Lon Lon Milk Bottle, and, yes, it includes the proper Lon Lon label (what would Talon have said if I'd left it off?!). I actually modeled this one myself, and it's a simple craft, but I wanted to have something to put on the site, so I chose one I could finish pretty quickly. Besides, it's the drink of heroes. : )
